Two of Virgin Group’s most successful entities – Virgin airlines and Virgin Active, tied up to start Virgin In-flight spin classes. Virgin Australia released a video in Youtube announcing the launch of the world’s first in-flight studio and how passengers could even gain Mileage points by spinning. The video features the new service where longer Virgin flights will feature a purpose-built spin studio in the flight. Passengers were provided a menu of class timings and the three sessions on offer – Jetlag prevention, Cruising at altitude and Sleeptime spin sessions (for the
night time travelers). Moreover, passengers get special Virgin active clothing for the sessions. The latter half of the video featured a studio session announcement along the lines of a cabin announcement where the air-hostess point towards the spin bikes, safety manual, and hydration facilities.
