Known for value-oriented data pack offers, Indian telecommunications services provider Reliance Jio announced JioJuice, an innovative technology that would provide wireless charging for phones. The video released by the company shows the Project head explaining the simple process of inserting the 4G sim card into the smartphone which then starts charging. The company claimed that the SIM card uses the Jio network to create an electromagnetic field and charges the phone by induction. The video featured beta testers claiming how well the new product worked, with one person exclaiming that her phone was charged by the time she walked from the campus to her desk.
